Thanks for your efforts, Sean...it's an interesting instrument. I would have used something other than speed knobs and perhaps shaped the control plate a bit different, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Well, as I've mentioned before, he is a very knowledgeable student of the Second World War, and one of the foremost private collectors of Nazi and WWII memorabilia. That doesn't make him a Nazi, though I can understand that the symbolism can make a lot of people very nervous. I've met him on a number of occasions over the years, and if there's one thing I've known about him for all that time is, he's about as far from a racist or an anti-semite as you can get. You don't have to spend more than about five minutes in his company to work that out.

By the way, I think his personal stack has grown somewhat over the years.

I'm not accusing him of being pro/against. I'm just sayin'. I know the guy who has sold him some of his rarest pieces and held most of them in my hand before being shipped out.

And for the record about what Lemmy said about Hitler. I've made that point on here as well. I respect Hitler. Not for what he did, but that he had the guts to do it. He's a sick mother"father" but he was determined.

Funny how it happens though eh? like, say the Nazi party used a cute white bunny on all it's flags and uniforms, I'm sure we'd feel the same way about bunnies as we do about the swastika today.

It makes me sick that these symbols are used to inspire hatred. Like the skinheads using the Southern Flag combined with the Nazi Swastika.

As a German decendant I can tell you no one in my family has ties to that dark time in our history. Most people I know who were in Germany at that time left. Some didnt even know of the Atrocities that were going on like any other bad government, they gave the general public information on a need to know basis. I guess the Nazi's felt most didnt need to know.......till it was too late

A parallel in some ways to today, I wonder?
