Since you got one with black trim, you need one like this:

By the way, those are cloud reflections in the finish. :D

Scratch-X and Zymol are great!

The bass arrived on Thursday, I arrived from Denmark and Germany yesterday and she was there waiting for me. This bass is just like everyone has described Blackstars to be. I love the feel of the neck and it is for sure a great player. She definitely needs the PW Scratch-X and Zymol treatment, a new chrome treble pup cover and possibly a new tail piece – slight tail rise. Outside of that, a terrific bass that I’ve been waiting for for a long time.

Thanks again Sean

A nice smooth deal 8)

Pics to come eventually

It deserved a home better than mine, man. Glad to be of service and glad that you like it. Believe me, I played it once more before I boxed it up and it made it a little harder to send it off...the neck is divine.

Sean, you’re the man! It would have been real tough for me to box her up after playing it.

Going to play her right now 8)
Thanks again

I hear the concept of player versus collector...

Somewhat why I have a love/hate relationship with my 75 4001. Seems to important historically to keep abusing.

That and I feel more comfortable with the feel/sound of the Laredo now. :?

Some forumites saw me perform with both my '73 4001s yesterday evening in Baltimore with Rare Blend. Just sayin'. :D
