On another note, I've kinda taken a notion that I'd like to meet Mr. Hall someday and shake his hand. From his infrequent posts over at corporate, he seems like a real, stand-up sort of guy.

Hopefully the guitar will arrive the middle of this coming November.

Hi Mike - Welcome to the forum. I wonder if your problem with the avatar is the size of the photo you are trying to upload- Go to http://www.jpegwizard.com, and register for free. Once you are in there, put 50 in the Max W&H pixel down in the thumbnail section - upload your photo, and they will email you back a resized image that will fit the avatar size constraints.

http://bluefive.pair.com/ (get the PIXresizer) or let the master (Peter) perform the magic... anyhow maybe you could post a couple of pictures of your Ric's when you have a little time. The resizer is helpful for that as well.

That was a really neat post. I felt a right idiot to start with, but I am now accepting my affliction as an idiot and I can't get my avatar thingy to work either!!

Someone kindly pasted my pictures for me and kindly told me to look at the bottom of the screen where it said in big letters "click here idiot, if you want to post a piccy" I have been too embarrassed to tell anyone I can't get the avatar thingy to work. Yes, it tells me the file size is too big, but I don' t understand
