That's true, I totally forgot about the 660's. I guess I should probably see the guitar in person first. I'm out for the summer in a week so I'll have plenty of time to play these things.

What a beauty! Sure, paying for them is hard to swallow...but afterwards- you can be rest assured that you got a killer deal. That's probably the cheapest v64 that I've seen on ebay in probably a year...especially 12 string

and now you've got the whole musical set- 6string 12string and bass. nice!

ps..I heard Tony at Pickguardian had a good technique for painting the backside of your existing TRC so that it matched the gold of the pickguards he sells. I'm looking into it for my v64 six also...it'd be a lot cheaper than finding a TRC seperately.

Yep, my little collection's all about versatility. I can only have so many being a traveling student and all. When the two new ones come in I'll have:

325C58 - for the guitar plunk
Hofner Club - for the bass plunk
360/12V64 - for than jangle
4001C64 - for all round bein bassy
Gibson '57 Historic Les Paul - for the leads and the blues
Fender Esquire - for that Helter Skelter shriek
Taylor 314 - to serenade the girls

I'll be selling off my Casino, a nice Fender Jazz, and a couple amps to pay for the new stuff.

The thing is the Casino has no case or gig bag or anything, so not sure how I'd ship. It's basically brand new, never left the house, don't think there's a scratch on it. I bought it in December and played it a bit, then went back to college and it's been hanging on the wall of my room at home ever since. It's barely been touched, but I gotta sell it to pay for the Ricks.

what are you looking to get out of the casino as far as shipping i could always send you the money to pick up a hard case to ship it in

or you could keep the casino and send me that 360/12v64mg

well wes did you get your 360/12v64 or your 4001c64 yet?

Jerry, sorry I missed all your responses. I actually just received the V64 today and it's outstanding. When I got home for the summer a few days ago I strung the casino up with some TI flats and now I'm really digging how it plays. Before it had regular rounds on it and I wasn't too fond of the feel, but now I think I'm gonna keep it. The 4001C64 is coming tomorrow, and I'll start a thread for the madness then.
