EI764 is on eBay right now, and it sports chrome top knobs with no writing and double dots.

They do not look like double dots to me. The dash is pretty small; from the severe angle, it might be easy to mistake them for dots.

Those are like what is on my 12-string, yes......small dashes on the top, dots on the skirt.

Sorry to bring up a year old thread.
Anyways, I too am looking for information on the silver topped 60's knobs.
I have a set of four knobs---spun aluminum centers, NO lettering, double dots, and no set-screws.
What period would that set them in, and are they Ric knobs? The size/shape/material seems the same as other vintage Ric knobs I've seen, but I've never seen a Ric knob that didn't use metal set screws in the sides. These just press on to the pot. Any ideas?
