I thought it was Supergrass after the first clue, but I am not familiar with their music, other than Pushing on your Radio.

Yes it was Supergrass - Moving. Scotty is going to be happy that Rob finally figured out his guitar bit........... With a few clues from me that were perhaps a bit of a giveaway of course.

Greg I 'm with you even though these guys were immensely popular I am not familiar with their work. I did listen to a couple of tunes and I have to say I was quite impressed. Scotty has good taste in music when all is said and done.

Well, apparently it's only the Mad Scott & the Goofy Newfie who are willing to make fools of themselves.
Here is a song I adore by a band I love. Shouldn't be very hard.
And a little tasty Scottish brew, too.

Mateybob wrote:Well, it could be supergrass. They are from Oxford but they first surfaced in 1994 with 'Caught by the fuzz'. But their debut album did come out in 1995.

Radiohead, also from Oxford, first surfaced in 1992 with 'Creep', but their first big album 'The bends' came out in 1995.

I would probably have Scotty down as a Supegrass player rather than Radiohead though. :)
Im a huge Radiohead fan. :D
Im back and im going to have 2 guesses that i have to admit,I think are wrong but here we go!
We might need clues!
Erm guess one The Clash - White Man In Hammersmith Palais ?????kind of sounds like it
and my 2nd is not a band i think is Gregs fav but anyway maybe??? a stab in the dark Smashing pumpkins Today (i really dont think this is right buts is all the fun of the fair ?)

I was going to do a Clash tune, but I kept screwing it up (must've been the beer. Do you recognize the brand? Brewed in Edinburgh, a little pricey, but I highly recommend it.)
Smashing Pumpkins is close, I think this band were a big influence on Billy Corgan.
Hint: have you ever seen Fight Club?
Also, I was going to overdub the lead riff, but I figured that would give it away.
