Generally there's nothing wrong with an Ibanez. They make some quality instruments, but then again there's nothing wrong with owning any 4003. I really don't qualify as being a bass player (I use them strictly for recording purposes) and I own three basses (two Rickenbackers). One of them is a 4003 and the other is a 4001.
