A few years ago I saw an interview on TV, or maybe it was Wyman's documentary on the blues (can't remember the name), but remember him saying that he (Wyman) had small hands and tended to play short-scale basses most of the time. Any Rick bass (except for the 3000) is long(ish) scale, so unlikely of interest to Wyman.
