Indeed we wandered a bit from my initial questions, which were about lapsteel horsehoes, but thanks for finally anwering them. I read somewhere that eventually the horseshoes were an unmagnetized plate, but I really wanted to know if the post war ones were decidedly different from the bigger magnets in prewar pickups, and I take it the answer is probably not too much.
