A favorite I had the honor of owning for a brief period was this one. Too bad I wasn't bright enough to catch on to being able to play it worth a hoot.

Also got a strange Grain mark through the A tuner! This also runs through to the wood at the end of the neck above the r in rickenbacker. :D

doesnt bother me in the slightest the 330 sounds great! its the most acoustic sounding ric ive had.

my 4001 has got just these two "beauty marks" at the fifth fret. Other than that she's just garden-variety beautiful Walnut. :D Do thumbprints in the finish on back of the headstock count? :lol:

Had to take a closer picture of the 381 today, as the first one didn't really capture the full effect--notice how the grain of the wood looks like a shadow of the strings vibrating!
