Thanks Vincent! Now when I watch the FOOW DVD narration and Chris mentions loosing this bass, I'll remember that the story has a happy ending!

I don't know where the Hendrix burnt weenie sandwich strat has been for years, but I recall Frank Z. posing with it in the '80's for some mag cover (Guitar Player?)...
Good news for Chris and Vincent...stolen axes are a drag. My buddy Eric Allen, the bass player for The Apples In Stereo, plays a Fender Tele bass...that baby cranks!

No, Wints, they're not disappearing...they're just jumping around like a flea circus. Hey, it was 'way back in the twentieth century!
Come to think of it, I wish I could make some of those years disappear...

I love the Apples, wish your friend would ditch that stupid yellow caution tape strap though.

Well, Wes, I'll pass on your constructive criticism, but I think the statement that strap makes is more political/philosophical than fashion. When EA was working years ago at Wax Trax records with my wife, he became known as 'Punk Rock Eric', so I think it might be difficult to get him to switch to something more 'middle-of-the-road'...
I mean, we're talking about someone here who puked into a trash can in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House when he was eight years old...
(There's a little gem you won't get from Rolling Stone...)
