If anyone is interested in a side visit to Sydney, I have accommodation about one hour north of Sydney adjacent to the beach. The accommodation would suit a couple and they are welcome to stay for as long as they like.

For those that surf, It has one of the longest left-handed waves in Australia at the doorstep. In a big southerly swell, you can get a ride of over 1 kilometre.

If you want to have a look at the location, the address is 346 Ocean View Road Ettalong Beach. There are some great satellite pictures on GoogleMaps.

I am on sabbatical January 2010 through August 2010 so my plan is to come and spend 10 days to two weeks. I love the movable feast idea as long as the feast doesn't include vegemite

I seem to be the only Australian that can't handle vegemite. Never could get it past my lips. :?

I was at the post office earlier today and started talking with a young blonde about her travels to Oz. The reason I knew she had been down there was that her car's license plates read, BEN 2 OZ. :D

+1....10 days at a minimum. Any less than that and you never get your clock adjusted long enough to really enjoy it. The sooner you can nail down a date, the better for me. Is the "Mullet Suite" available?

Just a small taste of what to expect in 2010!
My daughter Kylie flew in from Queensland recently for a visit, so Andrea, the boys and I took her into the city for a daytrip. This photo is taken from the viewing deck on the 89th floor of the Eureka Tower building on Southbank. In the bottom right corner is the famous Flinders street station as well as Federation Square.

As much as I would like to agree Jeff, there are some issues with that idea. One, hotel rates will be through the roof GP weekend. Two, the need to be at both places at once would be hard to overcome for some of us. :D Now the weekend before or after the GP would be perfect!
