That new one looks nice, but I'd be interested in seeing pix of your '72, Marc!
Keep me in mind!

Sometimes I get beer knees...I drink too much beer and my knees get weak and wobbly. :D
If you are drinking good beer, that's OK. Just make sure you are not holding your Rickenbacker.

I'm sure you've seen this one Kev. My issue is, for personal reasons, It'd be easier for me to make a deal with a dealer, rather than sell outright, and pay for the bass. Of course, If I was dealing with someone known from the forum, I would work it out. Gotta locate an AGF with FWI first though...

Here's another one for a little less money I think :

If anyone is interested in my 72, I would give them a deal and a half if they helped me get one of these from Japan. I'm sure one will come up stateside one day, but you know what they say, a bird in hand....

The first AFG in Japan is about $2500.

I emailed my friend over there. He thinks it's expensive! He doesn't know Ricks.

"Easier" maybe, but a dealer will surely give you less than its worth on the open market.

I know John but, again for personal reasons, I cant accept straight cash then buy the bass. My offer would be to have someone I know buy the bass then give me the difference for the 72.

Just for the heck of it, i emailed trade offers to the two Japanese dealers. I doubt they will go for it, but one never knows.

Neither of my AFG 4003s (one is FL) have FWI. That is fine--the more wood the better.

S'only missing the cover on the treble toaster!

I like the look better with the RIC tailpiece on this one.

It is now in Alex Heist's hands.
