Brian Simer is in Boise, IIRC. You should look him up if you aren't already planning to.cjj wrote:(I'm on a business trip to Boise, ID right now and can't seem to find anything here either).
Sansamp RPM? RBI? BDDI?

Re: Sansamp RPM? RBI? BDDI?
My "local" (30 miles away), Guitar Center aggravates the hell out of me. Unless its the most basic of strings,,the most popular Fender basses, or the Epiphone line, they dont have it in stock. When I went looking for the RBI , and the RPM, they had no idea what I was talking about. So I bought online..........
Kind of a funny story,,, before the Dayton store opened I went to the Cincinnati store looking for the Sansamp BDDI pedal,, after doing a search on the computer for inventory,, the salesman told me "nope, we dont stock those", you have to order them online.
I laughed,, and asked him to turn around,, there on the shelf behind the cash register was probably six or eight BDDI's sitting on the shelf.
At that point,, you have to ask yourself a question....do I buy from these idiots? Is it poor management? Do I yell at them? What do you do??????
When I go to buy something,,I know exactly what I want, I have done the research on the prices online,,,,,, I just want to spend my money locally to support the local economy but DAMN!!!!! Why does it have to be so hard???????? Dont they realize that there are professional musicians out there looking for Pro gear???????? I understand the market for the younger crowd, and the middle of the road market, but hey,, I'm out here looking for the stuff you advertise online, but you dont stock it.
You dont stock it,, you dont get my money.
And dont insult my intelligence with your lies.
and forgive my spelling errors, I'm on a roll........................................

Hey, compared to where I live, Boise is a metropolis! I've got to go more than 200 miles just to find a music store. Heck I've got to go over 100 miles just to find a Sears or Kmart...ryan.jones wrote:it is because you are in boise. there is a passage in nostradamus about boise and the idahoofians, after all.....
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

The VT Bass truly is fantastic.jps wrote:I tried the SABDDI and was not impressed with the way it imparts it's own sound to whatever is plugged in to it. I now have a VT Bass which sounds fantastic. Try that in one of your channels. Personally, I would only use it with one pickup and run the other one clean depending on which way it works best for the tone you are seeking.
