Yep, 9 No wonder I can't play it they gave me a wrong number

"I love rock'n'roll". I almost know it but have to figure out the bass part. Therefore it would be my 650 D and perhaps a 4004 if i had it.

But the lyrics would be a bit different.
"I saw him standing there, between Fenders and Ricks,
I knew he must have been about sixty-six"...

My band just wrapped up recording the mixes for our second CD. I do all the guitars and I'm proud to say except for the acoustic, I used nothing but my Rics!

Yeah, I hear what you're sayin', Fatcat. I've been listening to "NBB" since its release in '68! I've learned parts of different tracks over the years but like you said, I need to sit down and learn to play each track from start to end.

That's an impressive and eclectic set list you're rehearsing for your upcoming gig, brah. If that's Neil's "Cortez the Killer" you allude to then you and your bandmates have good taste. Neil's "Zuma" is another LP I listened to over and over again when it was released in '75. I know I must've worn out the grooves because I returned to Tower Records and scored a second copy! I used to include "Don't Cry No Tears" and "Barstool Blues" when we threw on a jam. Can't get enough of that special distortion only Neil (and Crazy Horse) could produce. Peace, out.....Goofyfoot.

Yes its' "Cortez the Killer" but on their list at just said Cortez Killer and the sample cd had an off the wall dreck version that was almost painful to listen to.
Drummer got me a better,different sample, which is Neil's version,that will be easier to learn.I can hear the lyrics in it.
Sunday's practice went ok,and they sent me home with about 20 more tunes on my memory stick.I guess they are thinking past Friday's gig, but I'm not.I'll see how that goes,then decide what's next.

Oooooo, sweet. Bought "Brothers and Sisters" when the LP was released. Miss Buddy big time. One of my fave Beatles' songs. Missed RT's WofD, though. Thanks for sharing, Jim. Best regards.....Goofyfoot.
