Blues Trivia
Re: Blues Trivia
Great sleuthing Jim.
So what about the other questions posed? Do you know the answer to them?
Here they are again.
How did Robert Johnson record his songs? What recording trick was used to enhance his sound?

Re: Blues Trivia
Good detective work Kira,
A common technique that is still used today for acoustic instruments is to direct the sound towards the corner of a room. Some thought Robert Johnson did that because he was a shy man. The truth is he knew how to obtain a great sound from his guitar.
The first tracks were recorded in a make shift studio as depicted. The recordings took place in a hotel room.

OK enough of the spittle laden laughter (I was drinking a glass of water at the time) courtesy of Kira, back to the question at hand.

Memphis Minnie is listed as a composer, I assume she performed it along with someone else.

Here's a question courtesy of one of our forum members.
Which blues artist has his picture on a automobile license plate?

Re: Blues Trivia
My initial Guess was Freddie King for two reasons.
1.Freddie King is amazing
2. He's from Texas, where they're likely to do this type of thing...
Well, turns out, it WAS Texas, but it's Blind Lemon Jefferson holding an acoustic guitar
