Yeech! Not the lower back!!! ****, I guess this means you’ll be having to do like me and take the trapeze over the bed down soon! Let’s face it you’re not getting any younger….
Seriously Scott, lower back pain sucks! Especially on yer birthing day!!! I wish you a speedy and complete recovery!!!

Actually I had lower back surgery back in '97 and havent had much trouble since. There's just a few things that you learn that you cant do.
Like sit out at a bonfire in a sagging chair 'swillin beer in damp 40 degree temperatures for about 6 hours the other night.....sigh,,,,,,,,I guess I'll never learn...had fun though.

ok, we have bonfire, swillin beer, and 6 hours...... where is the problem here?

Not as your doctor, but as your fellow Forumite, I recommend sustained low level vibrations....saaayyy in the bass clef region, might have a positive effect on the lower lumbar and sacroiliac… and of coures drink beer.
