Kris -- I do drink the Silk brand Soy Milk, and I love it!
Collin -- How bad does your brother have Autism?
Evan -- I do take Omegas, my mom has me off soft drinks (except Diet Mountain Dew...a new addiction!) and I don't eat processed food that often, always want my meals to be fresh when I'm ready to eat.

Quite severely. Assisted living and everything. He's been getting better the past few years, in terms of being able to speak and function, they tried the various treatments (dairy is just one example) not as a means of a "cure" but to try and see if it affected his behaviour.

In the last ten years I've had maybe a gallon of milk. I no longer like it and don't miss it. Replacement is the key. Find something else you like and you'll forget it before you know it.

Exactly my point when I mentioned beer, unfortunately, it'll be a few years before Jake can legally partake. Of course, I still get cravings for dairy based products, beer just doesn't cut it for ice cream either...

Colin, you have my sincere hopes and prayers for your brother's good progress. Also my respect for your fortitude.

Silk vanilla, or enhanced. Creamy, yummy, and without the cow pus...

They are excellent. I couldn't put the ice cream down! I have yet to try the pizzas, which I probably will tomorrow.

Good to hear it! I've always wondered about the soy based milk imitations. Since I've never had a problem with milk, I've never bothered to try them, just thought about the folks who can't tolerate milk and wondered just how close they were. Sounds like they're at least a decent alternative...
