"Don't Give Up On Us" David Soul, bad actor, even worse recording artist.
"Seasons in the Sun" Terry Jacks.
I'd rather be a wounded impala on the Serengeti, than hear these two songs again, ever.

Stan! never mind Soul`s Black Bean soup! Now that was terrible! About as interesting as Tax inspectors cutlery drawer.

How about:
"Tell Laura I love Her" by Ray Peterson
"Billy don't be a Hero" by Paper Lace
"Kisses for Me" by Brotherhood of Man
"Every Woman in the World" by Air Supply (although just about any of their other songs would fit in nicely)
"If I said you had a Beautiful Body" by Doctor Hook
"Shaddup Your Face" by Joe Dolce (this was a hit in the UK as well as Oz...only heaven knows how...)
"Wannabe" by the Spice Girls
or anything by Madge or Kanye West. If I hear that rap "genius" one more time my head will explode....

Anything by Journey, REO Speedwagon, Britney Spears, or Pearl Jam, the entire Joshua Tree album by U2, Mandy Moore's cover of XTC's "Senses Working Overtime", hmm it's a long list. I'll stop there.
I think the steel player in the Dolly Parton video was using a Rickenbacker.

Funny, WERE there other musicians in that video?

"Last Kiss" J. Frank Wilson & the Cavaliers made me want to throw my radio out the window. In fact, most of those dead teen ager songs made me want to chunder

OK, you asked for it. We're through with the preliminary giggling. Now I'm going out on a limb and get controversial:
You know what really makes me hurl?
Anything by AC-DC,
Guns 'n' Roses,
Aerosmith,
April Wine,
Bad Company,
Bon Jovi,
Def Leppard,
Sammy Hagar,
Molly Hatchet,
Motley Crue,
Night Ranger,
Bonnie Tyler,
Whitesnake ...
really! I can't stand that stuff.
I'll be over here with my head down ...

Anything Gwen Stefani did without No Doubt..."I ain't no hollaback gurl, I ain't no hollaback gurl! It's spelled bananas: b-a-n-a-n-a-s" Also not a fan of Edwin McCain's "I'll Be Your Crying Solider" or whatever it's called.
My best friend at school, Jacob, isn't a fan of "Free Fallin" by Tom Petty. I didn't get mad at him, because I wasn't going to lose a friendship over a song. It's a great track, but Tom Petty's had better than that, I will admit.
I pretty much hate all rock after the 80s with a few exceptions: Pearl Jam, Guns & Roses (sorry, Kira) and Green Day

Check out The Smithereens, Jake. Great band and all-Rick lineup.

Not to worry, Jake. I don't judge the fans, I just blow hot air about the art
