Did you drill new holes for the bracket?
I keep thinking about doing this on my 12 string.

The R and trapeze brackets are totally different. The trapeze requires 4 screws. You can switch from an R to a trapeze...but you can't go back. Well, you can if you don't mind exposing some old screw holes.

just some small screws i got the same ones from the `R` bracket.Simple switch over and 4 screws for the trapeze.Trickiest bit is getting the strap bolt out i used grips with a towel round it as not to scrape or impair the chrome finish.A one way change that is not going back.Greg its just a matter of screwing 4 new screws for the bracket.

You don't really need the screws, the strap button is enough to hold the tailpiece on. If you want to go back to an R tail, just put some felt pads between the plate and the body of the guitar.

Good work, brave fella.

I think you need a custom pick guard and TRC on that as well now. Gold would look super methinks.
