That is just major messed up. That bass is only good for parts now IMHO. To take a perfectly good instrument and butcher it like that.....I don't get it at all.

The saddest part is I have seen other players attempt to copy this method of "enhancing" a Rick bass and then reselling them and they were doing an even WORSE job. It looks like they just try to snap pieces off with their bare hands. It always seems to happen to blue basses too, why on earth is that? Colorism?

Well you can tell he's obviously trying to *show off* the attack marks with specific photos, perhaps trying to pimp it as a a bass who has seen some battles, who knows.
But it's definitely done on purpose.

The only battle that poor bass ever had was with an owner who was an imbecile.
