I'm quickly approaching the three year mark for one that the dealer already had on order.

Thanks for the update, Ben! As I'm second in line at my dealer. I feel confident it will be coming then. Just have to wait a little longer...

Yeah. Less than two months left. I'm pretty sure I'm first in line at my dealer, if not close.

I wonder how many will be delivered? This can't be delivery on orders originally placed when the C Series was announced... is it?

Fingers crossed for you Kris.
It'll be interesting to see if the shade of Fireglo on these is as dark and rich as the regular 08/09 models, or if they've gone for the more vintage lighter red.
I'd actually prefer the former.

From the pictures I've seen, the 360/12C63 at NAMM had some really nice shading. Anyone here able to have snagged a pic of it?

Darker FG might be more accurate to how it looked in 1963:

Would ordering one now from a dealer get me one very quickly?

Your best bet would be to watch the 'recently shipped' feature on the RIC website, and then contact some of the dealers who are receiving them. There is a chance you will find one which is not already reserved for another customer. I did this and I have one from the last batch produced........sometime in 2008. I don't remember the date without checking the serial number.

As to the FG finish, I will try to post a pic sometime in the near future. I have several which I have been meaning to add to the registry, and each time I get a different one out I plan on making note of the serial number and on taking some photos.

There's one currently for sale at Lark Street Music - just arrived this week. It's an '06 with a dark red tint to the FG; really nice and minty fresh! Asking $2499 for it.
