Well, that clears that up. I guess I like the Walnut a bit better because of the shine.

Walnut/Autumnglo: another color on my list of "if I ever hit the lottery" basses.

Hey Tony, is the black pickguard on your autumnglo original? Looks great.

Some pics of my autumnglo, some that I've posted before, others that I haven't:

The lighting has a big effect - some of these live shots show more red, probably due to the stage lights?

Well, I don't own a Rick with a walnut finish, but browsing this thread made me realize what a great bunch of people we have on this forum. Here's a guy that needs some pictures to help his luthier get his finish right...and in a matter of hours, some 50 photos (either posted directly or linked to) are provided by fellow forumites.

No comments like "that's what the forum search function is for" or "use Google Image search, dude"...just a bunch of obliging responses from other members wanting to help. This really is a unique place. You're all great people.

Gee...way to shatter my illusion, Kira. Thanks.
And all this time I thought you were the kind of girl I could take home to Mom.

Hey Tony, is the black pickguard on your autumnglo original? Looks great.
Hey Mike,

YES & NO lol!

YES, it came with a black pickguard stock as well as a TRC. For some reason, the pickguard was swapped out by a previous owner.
I HAVE the original still in the case. It looks perfect so why it was swapped out, I have no idea.

BUT, yes it DID come with a BLACK TRC & Pickguard! :D

Darn it, Tony. I was doing just fine, I didn't want any more basses!

I'll keep you in mind should she vacate the premise.....but Mr. Vasco has first dibbs.
