welcome here,
as the high gain goes i have to chime in here, high gain pickup with volume rolled off can sound very much like the toaster and new high gain has adjustable polepieces. it is good pickup. for those 12 string tp sounds i would suggest 660/12, 360/12 or 330/12 which is bit less ornate more and rather inexpensive guitar). 660/12 is the game if you need wider neck but this is not such a big issue since they reworked standard string spacing at the factory.
