Kilt etiquette 101: never comment on the positioning of the sporran :oops: , particularly in situations where large amounts of alcohol may be comsumed, unless you are prepared for cascades of profanities and a wild brawl... :shock: which, in my experience, many Scots seem to anticipate with relish... :D

the seal is the right height cause with the jacket buttoned you cant see the thick belt above keeping the gut in! LOL Numpties!
and Yes aitch their my best heels! :lol:
kira i am going to take it in good humour cause if i can dish it i can eat it! but one false move! :twisted: BTW im still recovering from a great night out.....

Actually Hogmanay started here in Kansas, Mitch. Yup, it's true. Originally called Hog Monday, it was the first Monday in January when because of the blue laws in the state, pigs could be slaughtered. You needed to wait for real cold weather, such as it was, so that the meat wouldn't spoil.

Well, a newspaper type setter at the Emporia Gazette misspelled the words Hog Monday, and it came out Hog Manay. And later it just got all run together and it has been known as Hogmanay ever since.

Hogmanay is a anagram of `last day of the year lets get as many bottles down yer throat as humanly possible`Well that's what i got told! :D
