I'll see what I can do for the next gig, or perhaps even sooner at the NAMMinicon GRAHAMinicon. :D

LOL Jdog-that guitar's going nowhere but to gigs and back! I played the TURQ on NYE, with a complementary early 60s, thin lapel green "sharkskin" suit, and matching skinny tie with a black shirt and pocket scarf. I don't know how I lucked out with the matching tie and suit. they were gifts from my pal Linda Lu on different occasions, they're both of early 60s vintage, and they match-weird!! I hope someone took pics that night so I can post; to date I don't have any live gig photos of my playing the TURQ to share with y'all!

Larry's a terrific guy who I've been corresponding with for about 18 months. I've seen really nice stuff coming from him in the Rick department. He's a good businessman, too--always returns emails and provides good info and feedback. He's most welcome in the Rick refinishing/restoration community.

This one looks great, Paul!

Paul,

Beautiful!!! I love the color and the accent really sets it off. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as we enjoy looking at it. As a satisfied...VERY satisfied customer of Larry Davis, I can't do anything but echo the comments of everyone else. Great guy, great work..... :D

When are the siren and lights being installed?
I get a great siren effect by letting the guitar gently feed back while dipping the whammy bar and returning it to pitch repeatedly. As for the lights...hmm, maybe I could rig up some sort of flashing knobs or something, or else drop a blinking light inside the sound hole during shows.

The front view of your headstock doesn't show the binding, but the second one at an angle does. Are my eyes deceiving me?

Your eyes are not deceiving you; that's headstock binding. :D

LOL! Thanks Dan. :D You can't go wrong doing that. If you're really hip on your existing p/u sound, you could always unbutton the hi gains and buy toaster covers-much cheaper!
