We bought the plane tickets. We'll be in the Salem and Eugene Oregon areas August 15-22. If there are any Rickenbacker Packers out that way, PM me, or send me an email and let's see what we can come up with. My email address is in my profile.

I'm on Vashon Island, and would certainly be interested.

I'll be there if it happens and would be up for helping out. I don't know what I could do, but I'll assist if it hasn't happened yet!

Well, I'm in North Dakota...and might be persuaded to go west 8)

Hey, you could pick me up on your way through Montana!

Minneapolis might be OK, I drove over there one day to pick up a piece of equipment I bought...

Maybe we just need to have a North Central Confluence for us gluttons for sub-zero weather...

Nome Alaska? Well, it's is a bit far to travel, but heck, it's about twice the population and the average winter low temps aren't any worse than here, in fact, we even beat the record low by 2 degrees, Nome's record is only -54F, ours is -56F! The summers look nicer though, an average high of 59F as opposed to 85F. And the wind's a lot less too! I'll take it!

Hmm, I thought perhaps Barrow, Alaska might be a bit cooler. Nope, record low there is only -53F! I may just have to move North to get some of that nice weather!

Unless everyone's really keen on spending their spare time making snow Rickenbackers, I suggest one of the warmer months.

Warmer months works for me. My schedule usually thins out pretty much in the last half of June, July, and the first half of August.
