Re: Wah Wah Ya old Cry Baby
I had a "King" Vox-Wah made by Thomas Organ Co. back in the 70's. That pedal sounded so much better than any other wah I ever heard since. I've had quite a few others including Crybabys, I currently own a 535Q, but I use a Fulltone Clyde live. Wish I still had the old one....
Re: Wah Wah Ya old Cry Baby
Budda Bud-wah. Throaty, smooth and basically like a reworked Vox without all the noise. Don't use it often but it's there if I ever need it. The one I loved when I was coming up was the DeArmond 'Weeper" - the model 1802. Killer wah; sounded pretty close to this Budda, actually.

Re: Wah Wah Ya old Cry Baby
Any recommendations for bass wah?
Re: Wah Wah Ya old Cry Baby
Morley and Dunlop both make Bass Wahs, as well as others I'm sure.
Re: Wah Wah Ya old Cry Baby
Well I did record the song that I mentioned earlier in this thread and the Behringer Wah did a bang up job of emulating Claptons so called "woman tone". So it passed the test with flying colours IMHO.

Re: Wah Wah Ya old Cry Baby
Thanks Mike and may I say that coming from such a fine musician as you that is a nice compliment.

Re: Wah Wah Ya old Cry Baby
I've been wanting to know the answer to this question, maybe this thread will work:
How do you work a Wah pedal? The Cry Baby I briefly experimented with was very cool, but I couldn't get anything solid going down because of my bad hand/foot coordination (and that's also why I'm not a drummer). How can I work the Wah good enough to get something solid down? I really want to get a Dunlop Cry Baby (original), but I find no use in having it if I can't work it correctly.
