I had a "King" Vox-Wah made by Thomas Organ Co. back in the 70's. That pedal sounded so much better than any other wah I ever heard since. I've had quite a few others including Crybabys, I currently own a 535Q, but I use a Fulltone Clyde live. Wish I still had the old one.... :(

Budda Bud-wah. Throaty, smooth and basically like a reworked Vox without all the noise. Don't use it often but it's there if I ever need it. The one I loved when I was coming up was the DeArmond 'Weeper" - the model 1802. Killer wah; sounded pretty close to this Budda, actually.

Morley and Dunlop both make Bass Wahs, as well as others I'm sure.

Well I did record the song that I mentioned earlier in this thread and the Behringer Wah did a bang up job of emulating Claptons so called "woman tone". So it passed the test with flying colours IMHO.

I've been wanting to know the answer to this question, maybe this thread will work:

How do you work a Wah pedal? The Cry Baby I briefly experimented with was very cool, but I couldn't get anything solid going down because of my bad hand/foot coordination (and that's also why I'm not a drummer). How can I work the Wah good enough to get something solid down? I really want to get a Dunlop Cry Baby (original), but I find no use in having it if I can't work it correctly.

The same way you get to Carnegie Hall--practice, practice...
