Mitch, have you tried that 360/6V64 for the blues? It might not be a capri, but it never hurts to try!

There USED to be a great video on YouTube of Clarence Gatemouth Brown playing blues on a semi-hollow Ric. Might have been a Capri... Last time I looked for the video, it had been pulled.

I've also seen some videos of a (semi-) obscure black female blues artist from the 50s/60s. Her name escapes me, but I remember her singing and playing a Ric.

My feeling about blues guitar is, you're better off finding your own unique tone. I don't normally play much blues, but I'd be tempted to grab my 610 and run it through an AC30, as a starting point. But really, it think it would more rewarding to use something hollow, like a 330.

One of my favorite blues artists of all time- Huddie Ledbetter (Leadbelly) was a master of the 12 string. I can't see why a Ric set to the right tone wouldn't absolutely kill at electric versions of Leadbelly tunes.

Another master of the (acoustic) 12 string blues was Blind Willie McTell. Great stuff. He played a Stella 12 string. His greatest hit, through Taj Mahal and also the Allman Bros. was "Statesboro Blues." I think it would be interesting to revisit some of McTell's material updated on a Rick 12.

I've got a Lightnin' Hopkins CD in my truck that I've been listening to quite a bit. Add to that, the fact that I've also been spending a lot of time with my new 660/12. I'm thinking there's three or four on the songs on the CD (especially Tell Me Boogie) that would probably work with one of my 12 strings. If I find the time this week, I may do some experimentation.

A '90s V64 with 12k toaster would probably fit the bill.

I have a Crossroads (Dallas, TX, 2004) DVD that had a blues artist playing a 12 string electric. If I get a chance I will view it and get more info to post. As I recall the body is Rick like.

What would be a good distortion pedal to add to my rig for more crunch at lower volume levels? I don't want to play to loud cuz getting evicted would really give me "da blooze" ?

I recently bought a Digitech Hardwire Valve Distortion pedal. Sounds great with my 360V64, although it might sound better if mine was JG like yours.
