Make that 2 for Get Back. First song on bass. Let it Be was the first on piano.

I think it was "Hey Jude" on my first acoustic, an Ovation Balladeer. Except, I couldn't play it at first in F so I dropped the tuning a step and learned it in G.

"Blackbird" on my first POS nylon-stringed acoustic, when i was 10. Still love playing the chord progressions of that song today!
On my first Rick, a 320 BG, ....what else????..."I saw her standing there"..... never get tired of playing that. :D

I learned to play guitar by ear with a buddy of mine starting when I was about 15. One of the very first tunes we did (not just Beatles songs) was "Two Of Us." Shortly after, we learned "I've Just Seen a Face. I know a lot of you will find this funny but the first time I heard this song, it was the Wings version (Wings Over America, I think?) and we loved playing that 12 string acoustic solo that I think Denny did.

Day Tripper on guitar, and I'm very suprised there are nearly 2 pages without this one!!
I always ignored the middle 8 for some reason. I may have been afraid of the tension building!!

Hacked out 'A Day in the Life' on a 70's-vintage Silvertone, which quickly broke and was replaced with an Epi acoustic.
