Have you guys seen their SXSW documentary: A Texan Odyssey. It's "their first experience as documentarians." If you haven't seen it, let me know and I'll throw it up for you to download. Even funnier than the show, it's a must see.

Please do.
Also, if anyone missed this as it made the rounds:
You're welcome. Personally, I think it's loads funnier than their show.

Probably my least favorite song of theirs. I get the irony, but it's just painful to listen to. Anyone been watching the new season? It's sort of hit-or-miss so far.
Yeah, I've only caught the first episode so far (no cable...) and wasn't too impressed. The guys explained it- they spent years building up all the songs/plots for the first season, and used all their a-list material banging out a great first season, so even though they are genius, they have a lot of work to do....
Same thing happened to The Angry Beavers - the first season was the best, with it fading after, with only a few highlights.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm loving the new episodes. The song in the second episode about the "sugar lumps" definitely had me laughing out loud. You can certainly tell that they're writing the songs for the episodes instead of writing episodes around songs, but I think it is just as good. And yes the SXSW documentary is definitely worth a watch. Good stuff.

I liked the 2nd and 3rd, but the 1st was lame, and last night's was dreadful with only brief moments of hilarity. I can't believe I'm saying this! I really dig these guys' act!

It's mint with one or two very small ding exceptions. It plays absolutely great. I can't believe these never caught on. They track very well, and the nylon strings that capture the strumming/picking are soooooooo easy on the fingers, it's kind of tempting me to give up regular guitars altogether! I have finally mastered the FOTC theme song on it, complete with the drum part. When I get a chance I'll do a video or recording and post it.
