Our island is as big as the contiguous US, or the lower 48 as some may say, with less than 10% of the population... with great natural features, fabulous cities and a lifestyle that's the envy of the world. On top of that, every man looks like Hugh Jackman and every woman looks like Elle McPherson. What's not to like?

Now, where I live may not really qualify as an island, but it's pretty east to feel stranded around these parts...
