Thanks, guys,

I've always had strange pets. Tarantulas, iguanas, I kept 'em both at one time, but never had a parrot. They seem kind of high maintenance, and I've already got one spoiled, demanding Yorkie with a jealous streak. He even hates my frogs! Maybe I should get a parrot to put Tripper in his place

Oh, we got them all right, or something closely related, and that was my guess but I never saw ones that tiny before. 8)

My wife Andrea was very keen on having a carpet python as a pet. No thank-you very much!! Her brother had a few for awhile, but once one of them bit him, she changed her mind. Hence our marriage was saved!! :D

Boas are good pets. Pythons are not. That's what I always heard, anyway.

I think cats (Felis catus) qualify as strange pets.

   Yeah but I swore off the stuff years ago

Most likely it would be an experience at the emergency room!, or a Darwin Award winner

Good one! I'd love too see a Darwin award given because somebody licked their exotic frog to see if an Urban (well, Jungle...) legend is true.

Suicide by stupidity? No shortage of candidates out there, sadly

Collin, in actuality Pancho lacks the dietary ingredients to put the whopper on anyone. I've handled him with no averse skin reaction. But in the jungle the natives (historically) would rub their arrowheads on the backs of certain species in order to guarantee a quick kill. 8)

Dane, I love it!  Of course, you'd need a red "python" strap to accent the color mix.

Lynda sent these in to me last week but I've been lax in getting them up for you. Here are her two hedgehog confederates, Frodo and Aidan:

And all I can say is, "Awwwwwwwww!!!!!"

Here's a night shot of Captain Ron, one of my beautiful Northern Leopard Frogs. The little fellow came to me missing one eye, but as you can tell, he has no trouble finding dinner. He is oddly very un-fearful, therefore my favorite. His mate hardly ever leaves the hut.
