No worries about the white 4001. I did not have any emotional attachment to it. As you know, I am very happy with the JG 4003 bass you sent me. It's a keeper IMO.

I have the twin to Kira's 4001 as well albeit in Autumn Glo. Considering that I am a guitar player first, having two Rickenbacker basses is probably a bit excessive but..........hey I love playing bass.
