He said that he preferred to use his acoustic (Epiphone Zenith with added pickup) electrified in the studio as it had a "chunkier" tone compared to his Gretsch or Ric, however there is definitely Gretsch on some early songs, and Ric on others. I would imagine he probably used the Ric more in the studio around the time of Odessey and Oracle, especially judging from the studio pics from Rod Argent's site.

We do "Time of the Season", I sing it, kinda fun to sing and play that cool bass part at the same time.

At our last gig 3 weeks ago, we did She's Not There / Tell Her No. On THN, every head in the bar turned to the stage, because the audience never saw that one coming. You guys might want to try it.

I've managed to pull off a few Zombies songs live, including "Care Of Cell 44" - but only after I'm warmed up! (I'm a better tenor when drunk.)

Yes, this is a great clip! It's so great to see actual live footage.

I recall reading that both Rod and Colin bumped into each other at a pub after this was aired - turns out they were both so embarrassed by the performance that they decided to have a few drinks. Doesn't seem to be that bad at all!

I also like how the lid to Rod's Pianet lid starts to close by itself in one part - reminiscent of that Monty Python sketch

Setlist from the tour I saw in 2004, This show was in Atlantic City. Colin and Rod two gentleman indeed. I got to meet them after the shew. What a terrific band who I constantly drink from!
My only disappointment was during each guitar solo, some annoying super young chap had modern Eddie VH chops which destroyed each section of what seemed nearly every song. I never understood this concept with some of the bands from this era.

I did however just melt with Colins vocal which has all the kernals of what it was. Of course the obligatory Hold your head up!!

I saw the same tour. Colin's voice has only gotten better with time.

Yes, the young guy (who was a cousin, brother, or distant relation of someone in Deep Purple) completely wrecked the feel of the songs during the breaks.

But how cool was 'Indication'?!?!!? That one blew me away.
