I've seen them with Gretsch (Tim's black one) and long trapeze (Tim's reddish one) tailpieces as well. I think Piers used what ever he had around at the time.Chrome Aardvark wrote:... Piers never used the Rickenbacker logo on his truss rod covers and his guitars used Guild tailpieces...
Agreed about the TRC. I have never seen one with a Rickenbacker TRC.
