Classical, folk and dance hall?? None of the Beatles would be playing if it weren't for American rock and R&B.

What I like about the Beatles is that whatever genre they got into, they gave it their own personal touch.

Always loved "For You Blue", just a fun little song that gets me moving every time I hear it.

I actually have a mix of that song on a bootleg vinyl of "Get Back (with Let It Be and 11 other songs)" with an original vocal by George, and not the overdubbed vocal from January 1970.

JakeK wrote:That it is. At the Stones' Rock and Roll Circus, Clapton did an amazing solo, better than George did:

The band:
John Lennon - with 1965 Epiphone Casino
Eric Clapton - with 1959 Gibson ES-335
Keith Richards - with 1962 Fender Precision bass (as used on "Sympathy for the Devil" and "Let's Spend the Night Together")
Mitch Mitchell (from Jimi Hendrix)

No. it was George.

The only track Eric played on was While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
