Cool, uncool or just plain garbage?

As a San Francisco native daughter and aging flower child, that's my official anthem. Hey, it may be cheesy but it's easier to sing than the Star Spangled Banner Way Cool for Scott Mckenzie!

Oh well....I'm a native son of Oregon. We were so cool in 1967 we didn't need no steenkin' anthem.

It was I suppose, uuuhh-errr, acceptable elevator music for me back then. Wasn't my cup of tea, though. IIRC, there were beaucoup one-hit wonders back in the day. Late.....G-foot.

I heard this on the radio today - first time for a long, long time - and asked myself:

"Self" I asked..... "Is this cool, uncool or just plain garbage?"
