Yes, I'm sure that we'll find lots of glue in the rod channels.
You are not supposed to be able to get at the acorn nuts. (I had assumed this was an older bass with the hairpin rods. My mistake...) So, they should come out through the body end, and this is a bit more difficult. But once the board is off, all will be revealed.
