MMMnnn not to sure some folks have more space in-between their ears than others.

ram states:
– Relativity assumes that space is the same everywhere....
But until we have some quantification to think otherwise, it is foolhardy to believe it isn't the same everywhere.
IOW, when we get to the point of actually traveling close to or past light speed, we will never know.
And I don't know about anyone else, but Daleks and Cybermen seem pretty scary to me.
But it sucks that Emma had a split lip.

Yep.

Yep.
On the contrary, it may well be foolhardy to reject the possibility that space/time as we experience it is a universal constant, but it's not really relevant until we get ourselves to the point of leaving the solar system.

Did I not say that?
near to or passing the speed of light I think is what I said. if we get that kind of speed, we will be leaving the solar system.

Now we're starting to sound like
Enterprise senior officers chatting around the main conference table.

And what's the problem with
that?

While the senior officers are yakking, she knows what's really going on.
"All decks, alert system B-2. Repeat: go to Alert condition Baker 2. Seal off all main sections. Stand by."

*Tarrbot slowly backs away from the Star Trek freaks for he had a very bad episode with several of the freakish Trekkies during a horror convention when asked by one, "What is the bestest, Star Trek or Romero's Dead franchise?"
Apparently, the wrong answer was neither and dealt with something about Lon Chaney and Boris Karloff.
Seriously, though. I hate to admit I have seen way too much Star Trek. I'm one of the few geeks that really doesn't like a lot of it despite having seen nearly every episode at least once.
I guess I'm just hoping each episode/series/movie that was made will redeem the previous one. The last several ST movies have all been garbage, IMO.

It's always more fun to pick the so called wrong answer and then watch peoples faces

I've always been the smartass that way.
My mother used to tell me, "Everyone likes a little *** but no one likes a smartass" when I was a kid.
