Oh, yeah! BG was always one of my favorite clarinetists. The other one is Johnny Dodds. The guitar on the first number is played by Eddie Lang, I think.

+1! My parents grew up on big band music and I got to listen to plenty when I was a little kid. There was a lively swing/big band scene going on here in So Cal in the 90s, which was a lot of fun.

Gene Krupa was a huge influence on many rock drummers. Later on in life he taught Kiss drummer Peter Criss his techniques for example. I suspect Keith Moon was a fan of his style of playing too.

I got close at one time to being able to pull off "Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby" by Louis Jordan. That's about as far back as I've been able to get although there were a couple of Robert Johnson songs that I learned bits and pieces of.
Oldies is kind of a relative term, I guess. I remember describing one band I was in as playing mostly oldies with a few songs from newer artists. Guys like Mellencamp, for example.
