That bass is a close as I'd go without expecting (and deserving) legal action.
I'm not an ex-employee, just a Rick phreak. Combos mostly.

Welcome Ed! (from another BGC'er)

Glad to be here. I've been a lurker for years, but I have some more free time now so I'll be here more often.

That's frikken beautiful, Ed! Nice job! Do you plan to make any more?
Why did you go with a 34" scale instead of the RIC (33.whatever it is) scale?

Rees, no disrespect meant by the thread title -- just wanted to get everyone's attention. It's a beautiful piece.
Can we get a peek under the bridge and pickup covers?
Keep up the good work.

None taken. Here it is without the covers.
I may do a few more later on, I've been getting into bent-side hollowbodies lately, though.

Ed, have you thought about using the Ric scale? (33.25'' instead of 34'')
In some ways I kind've think the slightly shorter scale influences Ric's unique tone and sound. Of course, pickup placement is also a huge factor.
Good job Ed... I'd like to see you keep doing these and experimenting! If they gain notoriety you'll probably have an easy time selling them, and without the dishonor of being a trademark infringer. Good stuff.
