That is brilliant David, like it has been brought back to life.

I think my old 610 is going to get the treatment. :D

Thanks longboard! In regards to fixing the chips, I think Im just going to live with them. I'm very happy with the result I got from rubbing and buffing and waxing it up and I believe the chips just add character. I'm not a very picky player when it comes to nut width, or neck thickness and unless the necks totally warped or trashed or the bridge is missing, I can pretty much get the action I want on a bass. So that means I'm not gonna sell it, I sold my last one 3 years ago and I've regretted it ever since and it was very hard to get ahold of this one! IMO these instruments are made to be played and sure i love to stare at her in my room sometimes at night but by god shes goin up on stage with me no matter what. And that means shes probably gonna get bumped and scratched from time to time so it would be kinda useless to drive myself crazy trying to fix every little blemish on her. I've endorsed Modulus for a while (I hope Anderson isnt on this forum!) but getting this bass and playing it has re-ignited the spark of inspiration in me! These basses are just plain SEXY! lol Ok I'll get off my soap box now.........ooo! Is that ham?? lol

I usually have Potato Chips with my Dutch beer and Dutch (or French) cheese on my bread. But then again, I'm Dutch. And then again, I never drink Heineken but Grolsch instead.

[edit] You did a lovely job David! Nice Bass! I want another plain/normal JG sometime myself again sometime.

Well.......actually, I prefer tortilla chips and salsa with a good oatmeal stout, or maybe an India Pale Ale (IPA). But those days are permanently behind me.

I love the Vlaamse Frites from the Voetboogstraat near Muntplein in Amsterdam for the ultimate fried potato experience. I think they'll be serving those in Heaven. Ditto on the Grolsch. 8)

Thread drift to the max. But I did a lookup for the word chips because I know this word has a different meaning in different languages. I used wikipedia and in the link I gave above you can see the chips I mean are not Patat or frites as you and the southern Dutch and Belgium call it. ;-)
