What's "DAW"?

Still really digging mine. I would recommend the follwing as a starting point for you as this pedal is extremely sensitive. The eq on this pedal is active and the smallest of adjustments can make a big difference. This can be very frustrating initially, as the recommendations in the manual can be somewhat misleading. The treble will seriously kill a dog, so make sure whatever you have this plugged in to has the treble set a half or below the max setting. The mids can mud things up very quickly, perfect for a fat rock tone, but de-jangles the sound of your Rick. The bass tends to get a little dominating as you increase it, so really be aware of that when turning it up. Like the manual says, it is better to subtract what you don't want then to turn up what you do. Finally, leave the level somewhat low when you dial it in so you don't clip your DAW input and get the best sound. After you have the tone you want, you can slowly bring up the level to where you want it in the meter.sdbanotts wrote:Thanks for all the responses so far.
Just an update on this.
I've ordered a Tech 21 Liverpool pedal which should arrive in the UK soon, so I'll post a report on how it sounds connected up to my software.
I'm really hoping it's as good as the review/You Tube clips suggest, it could be a big problem solver.
Anyone have anything to say on them?
Cheers
