I'd say you got the buy of the century on your 325C64 Brian! Wow! The cheapest I've seen them sell for recently (when available) is about $2600. Last few on ebay recently ranged in price from about $2700 - $3000! Congratulations! :D

Over a year later and it still amazes me what a great deal Brian got...

I wonder if one could get a 325C64 for a steal like that these days

Jake, I'm still surprised and feeling very fortunate that I got my dream guitar for such a great price. I use it in performance whenever my Rutle band plays, and I've even lent it to my friend in The Eggmen to use in place of his 320. I even like to watch it being played by a buddy and think, "I get to go home with that!" And, no, I doubt that you could get such a deal today. It was a total fluke.

If you want a total fluke, some guy on Youtube walked out of a shop with 3 C58s at $1000 each because of a mixup at the store. Tokyo997, I think his name is - I think some people are a little too lucky in this life .. !

A few years ago Guitar Center sold a number of C58s at $1000 each nation wide. If I recall they had two per store and whatever didn't sell in the first few months got blown out at this low price.

Haha. That'll be the last time any of those guitars changes hands for that sum ... although I like to fantasize that some of the buyers didn't know what a deal they were getting.

Most ended up on Ebay.

$1,650... Ha! I like that. A sense of humor is good fellas, but I think I'll keep it. Used it today at a non-Beatle or Rutle related gig. Still love it.
