At my local store even the young guys seem to have a high regard for Rick, and they will cop to what they don't know rather than BS me. They even said they could order me one but I doubt it anymore - they've been selling those Indy fakers  which must be putting a strain on the relationship ... but I'd venture to say that Ricks generally get their share of respect in the SF area.

Good idea Collin. I'd like to do this one among about 4 or 5 Jam numbers at the next one. Bring your lyrics and chords!

Gah, maybe I'll get to play it at the next one with you guys? :)

On second thought, maybe we should leave this one to the Charvel confluence? Ricks aren't meant to be driven!

I had one snarky twit at the Columbus guitar show (who was hawking impossibly thin Faker 12s) tell me how many corners they were cutting at Rickenbocker.

Ugh.

There's the #1 reason while they'll probably never be able to "order you one".

Paul/Collin ---- the list of 4 or 5 Jam numbers/favorites suggestions for the next Mini Con (so we can download Chord charts and learn the tunes) are .... :?: :?: Perhaps its time to start the next Mini Con thread and post these Jam threads over there ?

I used to hear this all the time.

I am notoriously hard on my guitars in a live setting (I know it's hard to believe, but it's true 8) )and the only time I have ever had an issue with tuning is when I don't change the strings for a long time. Oh, and the one time I didn't bring a second guitar and broke the G octave on my 12 string. That was a little embarassing.
