Ahh I didn't see that you were playing guitar through the same rig my bad. Cool that you play a Jazzmaster. I play a Cyclone, they're like distant cousins 8)

How about a suggestion for a bigger gig that requires a bit more volume. I am possibly getting into two bands that will require more than my little GK MB150 combos. I wish I could just use those two little powerhouses, but they won't have enough power to fill up the stage enough for me to hear them over the drums and other instruments. I wish I could afford two Ampeg SVT stacks. That would be some serious beef with my Ricks for sure. BUT, that setup would probably set me back about nearly $5000.00. Not cheap at all.
Any suggestions? I really would like an Ampeg tube like sound but my money tree is not producing as much this year.

I have briefly tried those new Acoustic amps and they really sound great, but the reviews for them are mixed and although they sounded great in the store, playing them at stage volume for a two hour set and gigging them around seem to be the problem that people are having with them. Some reviews say that they are kind of cheaply made and one review said that his amp blew up before he was to play an encore tune to finish the show. That would have sucked.
And does anyone have any experience with Carvin amps??

Any suggestions would be helpful.
I wish I could just go direct and use ear monitors providing a good mix, but there is still the problem with stage volume for the rest of the band too.
Geddy Lee gets away with chicken warmers and goes direct, so why can't I?
