I'm a moderator too, and I will try to keep things comfortable and friendly over there. It would be the worst if somehow this group were to reflect badly on the forum, so I can assure you that it won't happen on my watch.

What software do you guys use to make videos? Better yet what hardware/devices?
I know it's two-fold--sound and video. But I know very little about both. I barely get a passing grade in Garage Band.

I make mine with my Mac. I have an iSight camera that I use with Quicktime Pro. Click New Movie Recording, click the red button and rock out. I save it in device native format which is a big and heavy .mov file that I then translate to .flv using Visual Hub and upload that to YT.
It's quick and easy!

I record video the same way as Kira: Quicktime + iSight. The audio's recorded with a Presonus Firebox into Logic Pro.
