Thanks for the info, Brian! It's good to have an idea what this guitar is worth. I don't want to offer my friend too little, but then again, I don't want to go overboard either. I feel I now have a reasonable idea of what it's worth. We'll see how it turns out. Knowing him, he may just decide he doesn't want to sell it at all. But then again, he sold me a really nice 4001 AzureGlo a few months ago for the ridiculous price of $700 (another one I've been borrowing for a few years) so who knows?

Yes, he is. Which is why I want to offer him a fair price!

On the bass, I was going to offer him a fair bit more than that and, weirdest thing, just before I called him, he called and said, "I decided to sell you that Rick, I want to buy another guitar. How does $700 sound?"
